These terms cover your use of AdmitUs at admitus.me. By signing in, you agree to them. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms before you sign in for the first time.
Using AdmitUs
AdmitUs is invite-only for now. You can sign in only with a Google account whose email has been invited. When an invitation is removed, access ends the next time that person loads a page.
Your essay is yours
You own what you write. You let us store it, keep backup copies of it, and send it to our AI provider so the coach can answer you, only so that AdmitUs can work for you. The privacy policy explains each of these.
Writing it yourself
The Common App asks you to certify that what you submit “is my own work, factually true, and honestly presented.” The coach is set up to help you write, not to write for you. What you submit to a college is your responsibility, including any wording you took from a suggestion.
The AI coach can be wrong
The coach and the reviews are produced by an AI model. They can misread your draft or give advice that doesn't fit. Treat them as suggestions, not as a college's judgment, and check anything that matters with your advisor.
Limits
Each person has a daily number of AI requests, and the whole site has a daily limit too. When a limit is reached, the AI tools pause until midnight UTC. There are also size limits on drafts, notes and messages.
Price
Prices aren't set yet, and nobody is charged while AdmitUs is invite-only. Plans will be shown on the pricing page.
Using it fairly
Don't try to reach essays you weren't invited to, get around the limits, or use AdmitUs to harm anyone. We may remove access for anyone who does.
No guarantee
We work to keep AdmitUs running and your work backed up, but it is offered as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of mistakes.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
